This week’s Mom Pick of the Week goes to the toddlermonitor . When I first stumbled across it on Instagram I thought it was genius! If you have a little escape artist of your own then you will definitely want to check out the rest of this post! Think of it as the next phase to the baby monitor!
p.s. I’m also hosting a *GIVEAWAY* with the brand. Just head over to my Instagram & tag a friend for a chance to win a monitor for your home 🙂
Rosie starting climbing out of her crib a few months after she turned 1. We had to turn her crib into a toddler bed shortly after that. She was pretty good at staying in her bed for the most part but lately she has been getting up in the middle of the night and wandering into our room. We don’t want her wondering anywhere else. The kid is a ninja and can climb over the two gates that we have installed and given that we don’t feel comfortable locking her in her room insert the: Toddlermonitor
If you are transiting your little one to a toddler or big kid bed or if you are planning on going on vacation/ to grandma and grandpa’s house… this device will give you peace of mind and is easily transportable.
HOW IT WORKS:
- The toddlermonitor is a “smart” monitor that is controlled by the toddlermonnitor app. You can connect up to 3 different monitors at a time. It hangs on the doorknob and sends alerts (vibration, sound etc) to the parents phones if their child leaves their bedroom
- It uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to sense motion (the same technology used in luxury vehicles such as BMW’s, Porsches etc)
- It does not need installation making it the perfect travel companion. You can bring it along with you to grandparents house or on vacation.
- It can be re-charged easily and a charge lasts for 7-10 days.
