Hope everyone had a fun halloween! One thing I will say about living in Manhattan was I was sad to think that Rosie would have to trick or treat in-doors in an apartment building but we quickly discovered when moving to the UWS 2 years ago that was in fact not the case. The UWS really knows how to do Halloween. West 69th street amongst a few other streets completely shut down from Broadway to CPW and each apartment decorates their stoops with elaborate halloween displays. We had everything from ghost busters to the ringley brothers circus! Rosie loved it all and really got her first true experience trick or treating. She was able to pick out her own costume and really nailed the whole trick-or-treat thing. I meant to post this yesterday and am trying to stick to the schedule of Monday, Wends, Friday ams which is what the majority of you have voted for but I got a bit sidetracked this week so better late then never!
One of the really exciting and fun things I enjoy about blogging is being able to collaborate and work with brands that I love and then being able to share some of my favorites with you guys! It’s even more fun when I discover a new designer that I hadn’t heard of before. Case in Point: I’ve recently become a fan of Lilla P’s collection of BASICS. The quality and material of their clothing especially the sweaters are 👌🏻👌🏻 ..so when we discussed a collaboration I was super excited to shoot one of their comfy and cozy sweaters like the raglan style I’m wearing above. If you’re in NYC, check out their boutique in the meatpacking district. Fun Fact: Lilla P is named after the owner’s grandmother. I of course immediately felt a kinship as Rosemarie Loraine is named after 3 of her grandmamas.
