I honestly can’t tell you the last time I put on a pair of heels & Rosie somehow manages to find the highest heel from the back of my closet every time that I’m getting ready to go out. Is it worrisome that she can walk better in stilettos then I can 😉 (I’m assuming this is something all little girls like to do) That said, she is developing quite the shoe collection of her own & has definitely surpassed her mama’s at this point 🙂 I’ve rounded-up some of Rosie’s favorite summer styles in the images above. All you have to do is click on the image and it will take you directly to the product site.
I’m also aware that a lot of you have requested that I share more boy options on the BLOG, so I’m trying to get better at including options for both girls & boys… which I have done below!! Today, I’m sharing & reviewing my TOP 5 BRANDS for SUMMER KICKS for the KIDDOS. I’ve got you covered for the pool, beach, bbq’s, the playground & more! I’ve hand-selected the cutest styles for the little ones in your life!
1. NATIVE SHOES
Native Shoes: are a must have (uni-sex) baby & toddler shoe for your child’s pool & beach days all summer long! We bought Rosie her first pair (HERE) when she started walking last year. This year she picked out this fun glittery pink style: HERE She also ended up getting a second pair for her birthday: HERE which is my favorite pick for a little girl! I’ve had a bunch of questions about sizing with native which can be tricky! I suggest ordering from a place like Zappos (free 1 day shipping and returns) where you can try on a few sizes and return what doesn’t fit. Rosie has a wide foot so I actually sized up 1 size from her normal size and they fit her perfectly. 2. SALT WATER SANDALS
Salt Water Sandals:A classic summer sandal for both boys & girls that come in all of your standard colors & will go with everything. Rosie’s white pair (pictured above) look great with cute summer dresses, bubbles & more. I also purchased this particular pair (with cut-out hearts) for Rosie last summer and they lasted her all summer long out in Montauk and even through Christmas break in Florida. (I always order shoes just a little bit bigger to give her some room to grow) This year we went for this classic white style and I also love this NAVY pair. They make a classic style for little boys as well and my pick is THIS BROWN Pair. More Favorites for a BOY:HERE **Check out the selection at Zappos for almost every color & style*

I picked out this red canvas T-bar shoe (only $26) because I love this classic red style & the cute sailboat snap detail. This style is also UNI-SEX and comes in multiple colors: HERE The shoe is also easily washable and gives your toddler more support then your standard sandal. The Velcro closure also allows Rosie to easily take on & off her own shoes with ease. And for $26 it’s a no brainer! Next up is this pair of silver leather sandals with floral cut-out detailing.
