We had such a blast in Italy but it’s so good to be back home with our little Rosie. While it’s always hard to be separated from your little ones, I do think it’s necessary to squeeze in some mom & dad alone time whenever you can. Whether its a night out, weekend getaway or a trip to Italy for a friend’s wedding 🙂
Now that were back in the swing of things, starting next week I plan on getting back to a regular Blog Posting Routine. I received so many inquiries from you guys regarding what you want to see on the BLOG over the last month and the only way I’m going to get to all of them is if I put myself on some sort of a schedule. In the past, I had been somewhat all over the place posting 4-5 times one week and then maybe 1-2 times the following. Going forward, my plan is to post 3 BLOG POSTS A WEEK and I will likely post first thing in the morning. Feel free to let me know if there are specific times/days of the week when you like to check the BLOG.
Upcoming Blog Posts: some specifics that you can expect in the near future: how I potty-trained Rosie when she was just shy of 2 (this has been my most requested post and I’ve been putting it off for to long) holiday styling for the whole fam, picture day attire, NYC kid-friendly restaurants & more!
On to the SWEATER! As soon as we landed in JFK, we felt the crisp fall air! I have to admit I was excited that it was finally cool. We have basically had one long extended summer and the weather in ITALY turned out to be in the high 70s. I didn’t end up needing any of the chunky knits & layers that I brought with me!
I found this ivory sweater (pictured above) from the site & Other Stories last month. It’s been sold out and re-stocked a few times since I bought it last month so if they don’t have your size right now keep checking back. I paired it with high-waisted & worn in mom jeans and a comfy pair of white sneaks
There are a few key elements that I love in this sweater:
- Oversized mock-neck
- Balloon sleeves
- Pom detailing
Added perks: the quality is great and not itchy at all. This is one sweater that I know I will wear throughout the entire Fall & Winter. I included some of my other favorites below in a variety of price ranges.
