For Easter Outfits check out my previous post: here
Easter is especially exciting this year because Rosie is getting to the age where she is really starting to take part in all of our holiday traditions. I know how much she is going to enjoy decorating & finding her Easter eggs & I can’t wait for her to take part in her 1st official Easter Egg Hunt! Being part of a large extended family I was blessed to be surrounded by lots of family members during the holidays! (cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, the whole crew!) Every Easter morning our Easter Baskets were waiting for us in the dining room along with a delicious easter BREAKFAST. After breakfast we would head to Church & immediately thereafter to my grandparents! The afternoon would progress with an epic Easter egg hunt with all of my cousins! (Mind you I was the only girl (for quite some time) out of 13 very hungry young boys! That being said, I have such fond memories of my holiday’s spent as a child & I can only hope that Frank & I can make them as special for Rosie 🙂
You guys know I’m a big fan of Mommy & Me Pajamas! Roberta Roller Rabbit is my go-to for matching pjs! You can’t beat their adorable prints all year round! Unfortunately, the pjs rarely ever go on sale but while browsing I found Rosie’s exact Babla Pajamas & a onesie version on this website! If you sign up for emails you can receive 10% off! I know its not much but for something that rarely goes on sale it’s something! For my set: here & a short-sleeve bunny version: here & we can’t forget DAD!: here Budget friendly options for the kiddos: here & here. **I included more pajama picks at the end of the post**
BEATRIX POTTER & STORY-TIME FAVS
As I child I have vivid memories of reading the Tales of Peter Rabbit: Here (specifically the Beatrix Potter edition) along with the Velveteen Rabbit: here with my parents. I truly am a traditionalist at heart so I love being able to incorporate anything my parents did with me with Rosie 🙂 Last year Rosie was dressed in this adorable Peter Rabbit Storybook Dress which couldn’t have been more perfect for her 1st easter! We have also added some new books to our Easter Story bed-time collection, and this is one of Rosie’s favorites! Pottery Barn has brought back some lovely Beatrix Potter options! Like this feeding-set & this easter basket liner
EASTER BASKET & ESSENTIALS
We received this adorable toddler sized easter basket from MonogramMary. It’s going to be her “Easter Egg Hunt Basket‘ because it’s the perfect size for Rosie to run around & play with on Easter Day. For Easter morning, I love this classic silver rope basket with this Beatrix Potter liner. Other Easter Basket Essentials: some sort of large Chocolate Covered Easter Bunny: here, assorted chocolate cadbury eggs: here , I never was a fan of PEEPS: here but both of my brothers loved them and they are an EASTER basket standard & lastly a cute stuffed animal like this chub plush bunny!
EASTER EGG HUNT/ EGG DECORATING
I can’t wait to hide all of the Easter eggs for Rosie this year. She’s at the age where she loves playing hide and seek & she is going to love collecting all of the eggs in her little easter basket. I also recently purchased this kit to decorate eggs with but you can never go wrong with good old fashioned food coloring & this one is all natural!
