When designing Rosie’s nursery, we went full throttle with the color pink and used white and grey accents throughout. I found most of my nursery decor essentials at Pottery Barn Kids & I linked a few of my favorites below:
CRIB: we actually found our crib for a STEAL. We live in a Manhattan apartment and moved places shortly after Rosie arrived so I wanted to make sure we had something that was light and easily portable. This crib was such a great affordable find and it looked like some of the more expensive styles that I had my eye on. Had we been settled in a home I loved the look of this & this
For Toy storage: The natural pattern of this toy dump goes great in any style nursery and I have one in my living room as well. I also have this lightweight pop-up hamper for extra toy storage from SKIPHOP which is easily portable & collapsable and can double as a hamper as well
For all of the tiny & oh so cute clothes: We have this wide set dresser with a changing pad topper. I love the feminine and old glamour details and no need for a separate dresser and changing table, this 2 in 1 version fits nicely into our NYC apartment (where space saving is key) The gold handles are also a beautiful touch but if silver goes better with your nursery color scheme they provide you with both options! I also purchased this organic changing table pad with this soft pink cover
Speaking of space saving, we decided to utilize Rosie’s closet as a place for her dresser/changing table so she had plenty of space in her room to play. These hanging storage totes were a great buy for organizing and they hung nicely over the closet doors.
For nursery artwork: ETSY is a great place to shop. I had someone design a set of three floral framed prints to hang above Rosie’s crib: Similar here and here … This adorable animal set print would be a great option for a little boy’s nursery.
Lastly decor items like this “My First Anywhere Chair” & this “Lamb Rocker” & this coordinating Lamb Plush Playmat really are not only adorable & pretty for the nursery but are quality items that your little one will love as they get older! Rosie is attached to her lamb rocker & doesn’t let anyone go near her “Rosie Chair” without her permission 🙂
