Tis the season for dressing up! Lots of holiday parties, Santa visits & more! ..and this is probably the one time of year that I really enjoy getting all “dolled up” and dressing in festive attire! Rosie has been following in my foot-steps and wants to wear “her pretty dress” (from CPC Childrenswear and her “pretty shoes” (from Elephantito) pretty much everyday!
THE DRESS: I came across this sequin Kelly Green dress for the holiday’s & instantly adored it for its blatant festive nature! I’m not normally a sequins girl but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this dress. The material is a bit heavier then you might expect but feels really nice on. It’s currently on SALE plus an additional 30% off for 2 more days! I wore it to a friend’s rehearsal dinner over the weekend and I plan on re-wearing it to a holiday party this weekend!
THE SHOES! Nothing screams holiday or party like this pair of Hold Loaffler Randall sandals! They are hands down my favorite wedding/special occasion shoe and they go great for the holidays as well!
FOR THE BABE
CPC Children’s Wear: is all about Classic American Prep for the kiddos. I connected with Ginger (who is the Mom behind the brand) and we immediately bonded over her amazing children’s clothing. She is also Mom to 4 year old daughter Piper (who is the inspiration behind a lot of her designs) which I love! I’m truly a traditionalist at heart so I tend to favor small business shopping especially when it comes to dressing the little ones. CPC takes it to the next level by putting a relevant twist on traditional clothes plus the quality of each garment is top notch. How adorable is Rosie’s Holiday Dress ? I love the old station wagon with the tree tied to the roof! So classic! Check out these “skier embroidered” pants for a little BOY. There’s tons of preppy winter gear and adorable fair isle sweaters, turtlenecks & more for both girls & boys. Check out more on their site: HERE
Elephantito: Another Mom-Backed business that is known for it’s high-end quality. If you’re in the market for classic all-leather shoes (for your little ones) look no further! Elephantito makes the quintessential Mary Jane as well as boots, sneakers & sandals and everything is made by Italian machinery. When I was Rosie’s age my mom would buy me a pair of Mary Jane’s each Christmas and I rarely wanted to take them off. Rosie is turning out to be a lot like her mama. Ever since we dressed up for Santa Brunch, I hear the phrase “mamma can I wear my pretty dress with my pretty shoes today? pretty much every morning! I can’t blame her because the MJ’s are so adorable. Rosie is wearing the patent leather pair in navy and check out this style for a little BOY. p.s. I normally wouldn’t suggest doing a hand-me down of shoes but the Elephantito styles are made with such high quality that there has been little wear and tear so I definitely plan on passing these down one day! For more shoe styles check out the Elephantito website: HERE
