THE CLASSIC FLAT. Channeling my inner Meghan Markle today with a crisp white button down, high waisted denim and the perfect flat from Sarah Flint. I’ve been searching high and low for a flat to add to my wardrobe that was not only comfortable and versatile but that would also stand the test of time. I came across the “Natalie Flat” and was immediately impressed: It’s equal parts femininity + sophistication and you can tell right away that it’s one of those timeless purchases that you know will never go out of style.
*I’m excited to offer the Let’s Be Mom Friends community $50 off their Sarah Flint purchase. Use Code: MOMFRIENDS50 * and to celebrate international women’s day, for every shoe purchased Sarah flint will donate a pair of shoes to the dress for success charity this week
FIT + SIZING PURPOSES: The Natalie Flat runs TTS . If you’re in between sizes I would suggest ordering a 1/2 size up. Also make sure you take into account that it can take a few wears to break in the shoe. Usually I get blisters when wearing new shoes but these were surprisingly pain-free from the beginning. There is also 3m of padding added to the footbed for increased comfort.
NEXT ON MY LIST: the PERFECT PUMP. The likes of Margot Robbie, Lady Gaga and more all sport this super comfortable yet elegant stiletto. The perfect pump was designed with a wider toe box to decrease crowding and has an extra 6mm of padding (while majority of designer shoes have NONE) all in an effort to increase comfort and extend wearability. This style is available in a range of colors + 3 different heel heights (I’ve never really been a high heel kind of gal so I love that) Another favorite: this sling back style
ABOUT THE BRAND: Before deciding to work with new brands I always like to familiarize myself with their back-story and who they are so I can feel confident sharing them with all of you. I love being able to support female entrepreneurs and introduce brands to you that you may have not otherwise heard of i.e. Sarah Flint. From the get-go I could tell that their shoes were well-made (everything down to the packaging and personal note felt above and beyond) but I was even more impressed by the brands commitment to quality &craftsmanship and specifically by Sarah’s road to success. She started her company at age 25 and has the design pedigree and training from New York & Italy to back it up. In 2017 she made the switch from WHOLESALE to DTC and pulled out of department stores (shopbop, barney’s, etc) completely. Doing so allowed her to slash her prices in half and give her consumers the best possible prices without sacrificing quality. Every shoe is designed by Sarah and made in a family owned factory in Italy. Her goal was to make a luxury shoe that was not only beautiful but that could be just as much focused on comfort as she found that many high end designer shoes were very expensive yet only made to be worn maybe once or twice a year instead of day after day.
Thank you to Sarah Flint for sponsoring this post. As always all opinions remain my own
