Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! Saturday was so beautiful in the city and we celebrated my sister in law’s baby shower. I mentioned on my Instagram post but she is due exactly 2 weeks after me. It’s been really nice sharing in this time in our lives and going through the same experience together… Not to mention our little ones will grow up so close in age and hopefully will have a built in bestie for life 🙂 I couldn’t be more excited about that! On Mother’s Day I’m happy to report not only did I sleep in late but I also took a 2 hr nap lol in the middle of the day! Despite the rain and miserable weather Frank and Rosie took me to a beautiful brunch at Boulud Sud near Lincoln Center on the UWS. The food was delicious 🙂 I highly recommend for brunch or dinner.
In other news, I’m also now in week 35! Pretty crazy! I can’t believe we are almost in the home stretch! I wanted to let you all know that at my last doctor appointment little Baby Hurley flipped and is no longer in the breech position. The doctor is going to check again at our 36 week appointment but it’s highly unlikely the baby will turn again. Needless to say this was a huge relief and thank you to all of the mamas who provided me with suggestions about how to get your baby to move positions. Luckily the baby turned on it’s own and I didn’t have to take any additional measures but I will be sharing your suggestions in my next pregnancy update for those who might be further along with breech babies. I also realize I’ve been behind on my third trimester update and part 2 of the pregnancy Q&A but I promise it’s coming this week so stay tuned and feel free to message me any questions you want me to include! Happy Mama’s Day!
I’ve been wearing this “non-maternity” pants & top set on the reg as of late. Whether it’s together (like in the images) or as separates both items have been in heavy rotation. The draw-string pants can be worn below or above the belly and the top can be paired down with denim. Both items are just super comfortable and soft on the skin. Nothing is to tight or constricting which is a must during pregnancy. My go-to place to shop for clothing that you can wear before & after the bump is HATCH COLLECTION I’ve been eyeing this floral pair for the summer months to wear after the baby comes and this top (perfect for Memorial Day) If you’re in need of a swimsuit check out their recently launched swim collection.
